Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lotus Cars Cycle Racing League website (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

What the Site does

The Site provides cycling league information, leaderboards, and related features. Some features may use data from third parties (for example Strava) if you choose to connect your account.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Site. If you are under 18, you should use the Site only with the permission of a parent/guardian.

Accounts and third-party services

If you connect via Strava, you authorise the Site to access data as permitted by your Strava authorisation and subject to Strava’s terms and privacy settings. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Strava account.

Leaderboards and accuracy

Leaderboards are provided “as is”. Results may be delayed, incomplete, or affected by privacy settings, device errors, GPS issues, or third-party outages. We can’t guarantee that all activities or efforts will appear.

Acceptable use

• Don’t attempt to disrupt the Site (abuse, scraping, load testing, hacking).
• Don’t submit false information or impersonate others.
• Don’t use the Site for unlawful purposes.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the Site, you acknowledge our privacy practices.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content are owned by the organisers or licensed to us, except where third-party content applies (for example, Strava data and branding). You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Site content without permission.

Termination

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe you have violated these Terms or if it’s necessary for security and reliability.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Site.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when they last changed.
